Torah Roots

In these circles, we select a different passage to study each time from one of the first five books of the Bible, the Torah. In Hebrew, Torah תּוֹרָה means law or teaching, and comes from the root, yareh יָרָה, which means to aim at a target or set a foundation. At 40 Orchards, we believe these first five books set an important trajectory for all that follows, and contain within them universal stories of the human experience with the Divine. Each Torah Roots group that meets is unique, with a different combination of passages chosen based on the needs and questions of that group. That means you could sign up for this Roots over and over to wrestle together and search for more.

This Roots is taught by Stephanie Spencer and meets in Richfield, MN. We will meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 7pm-9pm, for 5 sessions, beginning November 2023.

This program is $45.00 per session or $225 if paid in full in advance. Alternative payment options- including paying nothing up front or choosing a sliding scale- are available.
